When Jordyn Monge arrived in Spain from New York, he was only nine years old.
Like many international families, they dreamed of developing in one of the world's best football environments.
Their first experience, however, did not meet their expectations.
For two years, Jordyn was part of a large international football program where every player followed the same pathway, with little individual attention or long-term planning.

From ULF Summer Camp to Valencia CF
Blanca Carrió joined one of our ULF Summer Camps as a young player from the small town of Sot de Chera, Spain.
From the very beginning, we recognized her talent, football intelligence and potential.
After selecting her to represent our international team in a high-level tournament, we began working on the next step in her development.
Although our first attempt with another professional club was unsuccessful, we believed that Valencia CF's playing philosophy was the perfect fit for Blanca's style.
We arranged a trial, and she earned her place in one of Spain's most prestigious academies.
Today, four years later, Blanca is captain of her team and was the player with the most minutes played during last season—proof that finding the right environment can make all the difference.
